One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Speech Language Pathologist, you will help patients experiencing communication and swallowing disorders so they can significantly improve their quality of life through expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Every day you will conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients, meticulously implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
You will be expected to contribute your clinical expertise to develop and upgrade treatment programs and protocols, actively shaping departmental and organizational goals related to speech and swallowing therapy, and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

Evaluations are completed according to department protocol.
Completed within 48 hours once evaluation has been initiated.
Provides effective and adequate treatment.
Implements effective and adequate treatment following department guidelines.
Ongoing assessment of treatment effectiveness.
Goals and treatment are modified as appropriate in relation to working toward goals.
Selects appropriate treatment interventions.
Patient/family education and training.

Job Requirements Required Speech Language Pathologist: CA, within 6 - months Basic Life Support - CPR from the American Heart Association Preferred Completed an accredited Speech Pathologist degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA SLP license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA SLP License Previous experience as a speechvpathologist
