The Physical Therapist is responsible for screening, evaluating, and establishing appropriate treatment plans for residents, ensuring care aligns with physician supervision and patient needs. Key duties include supervising therapy assistants, providing thorough discharge planning, and educating staff and family members.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program, along with active state licensure and compliance with national board association requirements. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills are also necessary.
