The Registered Nurse will deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, which includes assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the effectiveness of care for patients in the Surgery unit. This role also requires initiating actions to meet patient information needs and maintaining continuity of care across shifts and transfers.

Here’s What You Need · Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program · BSN preferred · One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. · RN with one year of Operating Room circulator experience in a hospital setting (preferred) · RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire) · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND · ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req What You Will Do · Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process · Assesses the patient · Plans the care of the patient · Intervenes as appropriate · Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions · Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. · Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information · Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
