The Behavioral Health Technician supports individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include instructing individuals in basic personal, social, and work-related skills.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physical ability to perform tasks and availability for weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage are also required.
Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, performs paraprofessional duties by supporting individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders (SUD), and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including both adults and children. Responsibilities include instructing individuals in basic personal, social, and work-related skills and completing other related tasks as needed.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and reliable transportation during program hours;
Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the job duties;
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, irregular hours, and participate in on-call coverage.
One (1) year paraprofessional experience working with persons with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.

FLSA Status: Non- Exempt
00 pm- 8:30 am, 24 hours per week. Schedule rotation will include weekends and holidays.
