The Wound Care Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care, focusing on the management of various wound types. They also coordinate communication with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient wound status and discharge barriers.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold a current RN state license. Certification in wound care and sharp debridement procedures is preferred, along with good communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
