The Nurse Aide is responsible for taking and recording vital signs, assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and eating. They also observe residents' conditions and report any changes to licensed nurses.
Candidates must be state tested or have a recent nurse aide training completion certificate, or be willing to train. Previous experience in direct care services and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.

Measure and record height and weight, intake, and output. Care for the residents’ environment. Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting. Assist with eating and hydration. Observe residents’ skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed. Meet residents’ mental health and social service needs. Change linens on residents’ bed. Assist in passing out fresh ice water to residents. QualificationsSTNA Qualifications: Must be state tested, have recent nurse aide training completion certificate, or be willing to train. Previous experience working in direct care services preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred.
