The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for implementing the plan of care established by the Registered Physical Therapist and monitoring resident performance and progress. They also assist in discharge planning and program development while ensuring quality care.
Candidates must have an associate degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program and an active state license. Excellent organizational, communication skills, and knowledge of clinical programs are also required.
