The Clinical Case Manager performs social services functions to assist patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs and accessing therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. This includes providing basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services, crisis intervention, and family therapy.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field, along with one to three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, including direct experience in family and group therapies. A state licensure such as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW is mandatory, and applicants must pass a competency exam upon hire.
The Clinical Case Manager performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
Requires a minimum of one-three (1-3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Combination of education, licensure and experience and or student internship hours may be considered.
