STATUS: Part-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week
Hourly pay range
$21.84 - $25.66
Supplemental pay: Based on position, schedule and/or availability: Overtime
Mileage and expense reimbursement

Rewarding work you will do
Coordinates volunteer programs by training, scheduling and managing volunteer services, along with volunteers as assigned to meet the needs of the organization. Responsible for aspects of volunteer services including assessment, in-take, screening, orientation, staff training, scheduling of assignments, and recruitment.
Coordinates recruitment and support of volunteers by understanding and defining the volunteer role, and providing training and orientation program.
Assures all volunteer documentation meets requirements for accuracy, confidentiality and reflects the patient goals in the plan of care (POC).
Collaborates with volunteers through effective communication, resolving challenges, and evaluating and addressing issues including scheduling.
Assists in activities relating to the volunteer program including hospice training, volunteer meetings, data entry, statistical tracking, maintaining records, and communication tools. Ensures accurate and thorough communication to all volunteers on the teams/groups assigned, as well as with necessary staff members.
Coordinates recognition of volunteer teams and individuals in collaboration with manager and other agency leaders.
Maintains volunteer files and ensures all information including availability, skills and interests are updated in a timely manner.
Attends team meetings as needed and documents patient needs in a timely manner to support volunteers in their ability to work with patient/family.
Collaborates with the Development Department and clinical liaison to inform and educate our community about volunteer opportunities and promote hospice services through continued community outreach.
