The Optometrist will provide high-quality eye exams, including checking visual acuity, assessing binocular vision and ocular health, and performing full refractions to prescribe appropriate vision correction. Responsibilities also include prescribing vision devices, testing patients on applicable equipment, and instructing them on proper use, ensuring all diagnoses are documented internally.
Applicants must possess a valid Pennsylvania Optometry License and be flexible to commute across the greater Pittsburgh area for mobile clinic work. Successful candidates must also pass a Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and a drug test.
