The technologist will perform tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care and adherence to established protocols. Key duties include understanding and adjusting equipment factors like compression, exposure modes, and KvP, while monitoring patient well-being and guiding them through procedures.
Candidates must possess ARRT(R)(M) certification along with a State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and current BLS certification. While not strictly required, at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred for success in this role.
