The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will deliver compassionate and effective occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, implementing individualized plans to enhance residents' functional independence and quality of life. Responsibilities also include accurately documenting care, collaborating with the therapy and nursing teams, and educating residents and families on safety strategies.
Candidates must possess a current Wisconsin COTA license and be a graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Strong clinical skills, a genuine passion for geriatric care, excellent communication abilities, and a positive, professional attitude are essential requirements for this role.
