The Integrative Therapist II provides therapeutic groups and programs tailored to the served population, ensuring quality and purposefulness while monitoring resident progress clinically. Responsibilities include administering initial and periodic assessments, developing individualized and group programs, and implementing care plans in conjunction with residents.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in a mental field related to Occupational, Recreational, Creative Arts, and/or Vocational Rehabilitation, along with eligibility for certification or licensure. A minimum of one year of full-time paid experience in Rehabilitative Activities, preferably in a long-term health setting, is required.
Overview Under the direction of the Director of Activities, the role of the Integrative Therapist II is to provide therapeutic groups and programs designed for the particular population that they serve. It is the Therapists responsibility to insure the quality and purposefulness of the groups and monitor the resident’s progress in a clinical manner.
Master’s Degree in mental field related to Occupational, Recreational, Creative Arts and/or VocationalRehabilitation with/or eligible for certification, registration and/or license. Minimum one (1) year full time paid experience in Rehabilitative Activities or the equivalent. Experience in working with residents in a long-term health related setting. Must relate well with people and have an awareness of the issues of minorities and long-term illnesses. Prior employment or voluntary history in a setting with responsibilities similar to or giving evidence of ability to perform the responsibilities in the job description
