The Nurse Practitioner will independently diagnose, treat, and manage dermatologic conditions, performing necessary procedures and making independent medical judgments while consulting on challenging cases with the physician. Duties involve examining patients, administering treatments, monitoring progress, taking histories, and developing treatment plans within the scope of practice.
Candidates must be licensed Nurse Practitioners with preferably at least one year of experience in Dermatology, although Primary Care NPs are encouraged to apply as training will be provided. Essential requirements include the ability to function independently as a provider, evaluate patient concerns, write prescriptions, maintain professional demeanor, and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction while adhering to all privacy codes.
