The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care that ensures safety and well-being, potentially serving as a Charge Nurse to make assignments and guide personnel like LPNs and CNAs. This role involves direct patient care, assisting with orientation, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate shift operations.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Professional Nursing, ideally holding an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and must be licensed by the State of Georgia. Desirable experience includes at least one year in a hospital or medically related environment, preferably with Emergency Room experience, along with required certifications like CPR and ACLS.
Education - Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Minimum of Associates Degree of Nursing - Preferred Bachelors Degree of Nursing
Desirable characteristics include at least 1 year of experience in a hospital or medically related environment with ER experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates - Registered and Licensed by the State of Georgia. Current certification in CPR, or completion of CPR course (AHA) within 60 days of employment, ACLS certification, or ACLS obtained within 90 days of employment. PALS preferred.
