The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures according to department policy and regulatory requirements, and will assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures when necessary. Key duties include monitoring patient well-being, understanding ultrasound data generation theory, and safeguarding patient property and health information.
Applicants must have completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma, and passing the SPI exam is preferred. Current ARDMS certifications or ARRT(S), or eligibility for ARDMS Registry/ARRT(S), along with BLS certification, are required or preferred for success in this role.
