The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant will implement individualized treatment plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care. Responsibilities also include managing patient caseloads and documentation according to department guidelines.
Candidates must have an Associate’s degree in physical therapy and be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida. Competency in clinical knowledge and skills specific to the patient population is also required.
PTA will be part of an Interdisciplinary team of PT, OT and SLP’s providing world class evidence-based care to patients. Caseload will include patients with a wide range of diagnoses including neurologic and orthopedic conditions, but PTA may be expected to work with some patients from other diagnostic categories to meet the operational needs of the department. Associate’s degree in physical therapy, Licensure by the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
