The Registered Nurse provides continuous, quality nursing care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation, involving constant evaluation of their condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. This role includes assisting physicians, providing comprehensive patient care through assessment and planning, and overseeing care for patients of all ages in the PreOp and PACU departments.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited RN School of Nursing with an active RN license in Pennsylvania, holding current BLS and ACLS certifications. One year of perioperative experience is preferred, along with demonstrated clinical competency, leadership, and strong decision-making and organizational skills.
