The X-Ray Technologist performs primary diagnostic examinations to diagnose conditions or determine optimal patient procedures, while also creating a tranquil environment for patient adherence to instructions. Key duties include demonstrating competency in all radiographic procedures, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring patient safety from excessive radiation.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and current ARRT certification, along with the demonstrated ability to use computerized systems. Preferred qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year of experience as a general radiologic technologist.
