The extern will enhance their education through real-world experiences in a fast-paced, small animal emergency and after-hours practice setting. Responsibilities involve participating in emergency examinations, care, and potentially surgery, alongside in-house diagnostics and radiology.
Candidates must be active 3rd or 4th Year Veterinary Students from an AVMA Accredited Institution, though individuals with an ER background may be considered earlier. Applicants should be compassionate, strong communicators, and team players looking for practical experience.
