The Inpatient Pharmacist ensures safe, accurate, and appropriate medication use by evaluating prescriber orders, managing drug therapy, and participating in medication ordering, preparation, and dispensing. Key duties include collaborating with the healthcare team, monitoring drug interactions, providing clinical services, and educating patients and staff.
Candidates must be a registered pharmacist who graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy and hold a current Nebraska state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire or transfer.
