The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists by preparing, packaging, and labeling medications, including aseptic compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous admixtures. They are also responsible for inventory management, distributing medications to various hospital units, and conducting patient medication history interviews.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Nebraska. National or State certification (PTCB, ExCPT, or NE-CPhT) and BLS certification are required within specific timeframes.
