The Certified Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing pharmacy services, including preparing pharmaceuticals, managing inventory, conducting compliance audits, handling financial transactions, and providing customer service under the direction of a Pharmacist. Essential functions involve receiving and verifying prescriptions, recording patient information, educating patients on medication use, and supporting daily pharmacy operations while adhering to safety protocols.
A High School Degree or GED is required, along with a valid ExCPT or PTCB Certification and registration with the State Board of Pharmacy. Previous experience in retail, ambulatory, outpatient, hospital, acute care, or home infusion pharmacy is preferred, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills.
