About the role

The Medical Assistant will perform clinical duties including obtaining vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, and collecting specimens. They are also responsible for maintaining examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and documenting patient information in the electronic medical records system.

Become a part of our caring community

We are looking to add a Medical Assistant to our Anderson clinic team. You'll be part of a collaborative care team dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. You will report to the Lead Medical Assistant and the Clinic Administrator.

This is an onsite position based in our Greer, South Carolina clinic.

You will perform clinical responsibilities such as

  • Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs
  • Medication/vaccine administration
  • Phlebotomy and collecting specimens
  • Sterilize/cleaning equipment and maintaining examination rooms
  • Document information into the electronic medical records system

Use your skills to make an impact

  • Required
  • Successful completion of MA training program and Certified as a Registered Medical Assistant
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Certified
  • Great to have
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • 1+ years of MA experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$43,000 - $56,200 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed an MA training program with certification or registration. Additionally, applicants must be CPR certified and pass a TB screening as part of the company's screening program.
