The Registered Nurse creates and implements written plans of care tailored to individual patient needs, modifying them based on reassessment and progress toward goals. Responsibilities also include observing, documenting, administering medications accurately, and communicating patient status changes to physicians and team members.
Minimum requirements include an Associate of Science in Nursing and one year of critical care or progressive care experience, along with a valid Indiana RN license and current Basic Life Support certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required within six months of hire.
