The OBGYN Triage Nurse (LPN) provides professional clinical care, performs extensive OB/GYN triage via telephone, calls patients with test results, and prepares patients for examinations and procedures. Duties also include recording medical history, documenting vital signs, administering medications, and educating patients as directed by the provider.
Candidates must possess a High school diploma or equivalent and be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the ability to obtain and maintain BLS/CPR certification. Required attributes include strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a stressful environment, and proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
