The Respiratory Therapist performs therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services to maintain patient oxygenation and acid-base balance. They collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff while adhering to standard policies and procedures.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a MS State Board of Health permit. One year of experience in all phases of respiratory care is preferred.
The Respiratory Therapist (NonReg) performs both therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services necessary to improve and/or maintain an adequate oxygenation/acid-base balance. The Therapist will develop and collaborate patient care with healthcare staff and physicians. The Therapist will practice compliance with standard policies and procedures.
Respiratory Therapy Associate's Degree.
Respiratory Care Practitioner or temporary permit issued by the MS State Board of Health as well as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
One (1) Year of experience in all phases of respiratory care.
