The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing, and coordinating patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This involves recognizing and treating the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the specific age/population group served on the unit.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing and eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania, along with holding CPR certification and being Certified in Lactation through the International Board Certified Lactation Association. Experience applying customer service behaviors is required, while previous nursing experience in a specialty area is preferred.
