This role involves diagnosing and treating chronic pain conditions, performing minimally invasive procedures, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with chronic pain conditions.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans using interventional techniques.
Perform minimally invasive procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablation
Evaluate clinically appropriate candidates for neuromodulation, intrathecal pump procedures, and implant procedures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic patient care.
Educate patients about their conditions and the various treatment options available.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in pain management and interventional techniques.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution or foreign degree equivalent.
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology/Pain Medicine/PM&R with completed fellowship training in Pain Management.
Valid and unrestricted medical license or medical license eligibility in the state of Florida.
Experience in interventional pain management techniques, including implant procedures.
