The Clinical Pharmacist ensures the safe, effective, and fiscally responsible use of medications by applying clinical knowledge and serving as a patient advocate in care planning and implementation across the enterprise. This role involves legally responsible review and approval of all activities related to dispensing patient-specific medications pursuant to valid prescriptions or orders.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree and be a Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph) licensed in the State of Ohio. Preferred experience includes practice areas emphasizing computerized unit dose, sterile products, and patient-focused clinical skills, along with required proficiency in effective communication and computer systems.
