The primary responsibility is to ensure medications and supplies are provided to the customer accurately and timely, adhering to standard procedures and regulatory requirements like those from the Joint Commission and State Department of Health. This involves efficiently selecting and delivering medications, performing basic compounding, and managing Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and are required to obtain national certification (PTCB or NHA) within two years of hire, or already possess state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern. Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience is preferred.
