The Vascular Surgeon will join an established team providing patient-centered, team-based care, performing procedures such as fenestrated endografts and endogenous fistula creations while participating in an established TCAR program. Responsibilities include maintaining clinic hours from 8:30a – 5p, Monday through Friday, and participating in a 1:3 call schedule.
Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Vascular Surgery and possess or be eligible for RPVI Certification. Applicants must also be able to obtain a medical professional license and DEA with full prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a third full-time (1.0 FTE) Vascular Surgeon to join our established, collaborative and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based. Our team is currently performing fenestrated endografts, endogenous fistula creations and has established a program for TCAR. We have a state-of-the-art Cath Lab, immediate block time availability in OR and IR and a busy Vascular ultrasound and wound clinic on our campus.
Clinic Hours: 8:30a – 5:00p M-F
General Schedule: 5-day work week
Call: 1:3 with the opportunity to crossover with APPs for call coverage
State of the art Cath Lab Hybrid OR Level 3 trauma center Podiatry coverage 24/7
Clinic volumes: 15-20 patients two times per week Average # of patients seen per day
Support staff: MA’s and surgery schedulers
Practitioners: 2 Vascular Surgeons and 2 APPs
Qualifications: BE/BC in Vascular Surgery
RPVI Certification or eligibility
Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
