The Medical Assistant will be responsible for clinical tasks such as obtaining patient vitals, performing EKG and phlebotomy, and administering IM injections. Administrative duties include managing incoming calls, ensuring patient service, monitoring inventory, and documenting patient progress in charts or EMR.
Candidates must possess Medical Assistant certification along with clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy, and front office expertise including knowledge of insurance and Verification of Benefits (VOB). Prior experience and training in exercise is considered a plus for this role.
