The Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for delivering a full range of age-appropriate occupational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary setting. These duties must align with the position's qualifications, provisional practices, and ethical standards.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an approved school and have a minimum of six months of experience in an acute, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting. Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association and Texas Occupational Therapy Association is preferred.
The Occupational Therapist shall be responsible for providing a full range of age appropriate occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, provisional practices and ethical standards.
