Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate medication records and assisting residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Candidates must be a Certified Medication Aide in the state of practice and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Essential qualities include the ability to communicate effectively, a compassionate and patient demeanor, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Description Administer medication to residents as prescribed by their physician Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medication and report any concerns to the nursing staff Maintain accurate medication records and documentation Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Must be a Certified Medication Aide in the state of practice High school diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
