This role involves creating patient profiles and processing orders from electronic and fax queues, as well as generating and typing prescriptions for pharmacist verification. Technicians must also manage incoming documents and follow up on outbound prescription transfers while clarifying necessary patient information.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and be a licensed/registered pharmacy technician, with a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience required. Essential qualifications include knowledge of medical terminology, brand/generic drug names, basic math, and intermediate typing skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Starting salary from $22.00 an hour and up
• Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, Previous Experience in Pharmacy
