The Radiologic Technologist operates radiologic equipment to produce quality radiographs for diagnosing patient illnesses, working under the supervision of the Radiology Director and Radiologist. Key duties include preparing patients, minimizing radiation exposure, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and a graduate of an accredited Radiology Program, holding a current Texas License and CPR Certification. Required credentials include ARRT Registry with Texas MRT Registry, while experience in Mammo, CT, or Sono is preferred.

Stephens Memorial Hospital has a job opening for a full time Radiology Technician to work the night shift, Monday- Thursday 9pm-7:30am.
The Radiologic Technologist works directly under supervision of Radiology Director and Radiologist and is responsible for providing information to diagnose patient illnesses by operating radiologic equipment to produce quality radiographs.
Duties of the position require moderate standing, walking, twisting, reaching, and handling of the instruments and equipment. Lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional heavy lifting, including lifting and supporting patients that may suddenly become weak or helpless.
Must be willing to complete patient procedures in a timely manner, going past employee clock out time if needed. Again, seeing to the patients’ needs first and foremost.
