The Mental Health Technician interacts therapeutically with patients and assists in maintaining safety and cleanliness of the unit. They collaborate closely with experienced MHTs and Nurses to provide a therapeutic environment.
A high school degree or equivalent is required, with preference for candidates having experience in a behavioral health facility. One year of experience in behavioral health service or delivery is preferred.
High School Degree/GED required; or Associates Degree in a Human Services field; or Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field; or a Certified Nursing Assistant.
