How you’ll contribute The Senior Cath Lab Technician performs a wide range of advanced imaging and interventional procedures in accordance with professional standards and departmental guidelines within an acute hospital setting. This role supports physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, ensures the safe operation of imaging equipment, maintains high-quality imaging results, and monitors patient status throughout procedures. The Senior Cath Lab Technician also oversees supply management, assists with scheduling and workflow coordination, provides education and in‑service support for Cath Lab staff, and serves as the primary preceptor for new technicians. This position requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
