What we're looking for in a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit To thrive as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Southwest Health System, Inc., a blend of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills is essential. A graduate of an accredited nursing program, you’ll hold a current Registered Nurse licensure in Colorado, with the compact license accepted initially. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Nursing Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required bachelor's degree preferred. Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire. Current BLS certification. Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate. Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate. Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent customer service skills.
