Requirements for this Echocardiographer job To thrive as a Full-Time Echocardiographer at Southwest Health System, Inc., you must possess a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Regulatory Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited educational program in Echocardiography.
Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology or other Allied health profession is preferred.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Must be able to communicate with and provide accurate explanations and instructions about the procedure to the patient significant others and other health care providers.
Must be able to read analyze and interpret documents necessary to provide adequate quality patient care.
Excellent customer service skills.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited educational program in Echocardiography, with BLS/CPR certification. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are essential.
