The primary duties involve performing manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations, evaluating the neuromuscular skeletal system, and diagnosing health problems through patient examination and x-ray interpretation. Providers will also advise patients on treatment plans, counsel them on lifestyle factors, and arrange for necessary diagnostic procedures.
Candidates must possess a Maryland Doctor of Chiropractic License, and additional courses in physical therapy are considered advantageous. Required competencies include deep knowledge of medicine for diagnosis and treatment, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in therapy and counseling principles.
