The PRN Lab Technician assists in various laboratory duties under the Lab Manager, focusing on providing laboratory services and performing tests in the clinical laboratory, especially supporting the Endocrine/Andrology and IVF laboratories.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Medical Technology, Chemistry, or another applied science. A minimum of one year of lab experience is required, or meeting state technologist qualifications.
We are actively recruiting and interviewing for a PRN Lab Technician that will assist in a variety of duties.
Under the direct supervision of the Lab Manager, the technologist is responsible for providing laboratory services and working directly with technical or assistant staff performing tests in the clinical laboratory. Additionally, the responsibility also includes assisting the Technologists in daily duties and providing support for all areas in the Endocrine/Andrology laboratory, as well as for the IVF laboratory, as needed. The technologist also provides assistance with scheduling patients, accepting samples and performing all documentations related to Andrology/Endocrine lab work. Conduct all procedures in the Laboratories that the person is trained and certified (if certification is required) to do.
