A Physical Therapist performs evaluations, determines diagnoses, and develops individualized plans of care to maximize patient quality of life and functional goals, often working in inpatient or outpatient settings. Responsibilities include performing physical therapy procedures to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability, while documenting progress and educating patients and families.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and must obtain a Virginia Physical Therapy License upon hire, along with CPR/BLS certification within 30 days. One year of Physical Therapy experience is preferred.
