The Pharmacist coordinates and provides pharmaceutical care by collaborating with the interprofessional team to optimize safe and effective medication use. This involves reviewing and verifying orders, managing drug therapy protocols, educating staff and patients, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and hold a current license with the state Board of Pharmacy. Essential skills include critical thinking, decisive judgment, the ability to work independently in stressful settings, and rapid navigation of multiple pharmacy software systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Doctor of Pharmacy.
Current license with the state Board of Pharmacy.
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments. Rapid learning and navigation of multiple pharmacy/clinical software systems. Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand). Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
