Under the supervision of a Registered Technologist, the student will perform technical procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology and produce quality, diagnostic images for the Radiologist. This individual is also responsible for practicing radiation safety and adhering to departmental safety procedures.
Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent and currently enrolled in a School of Radiologic Technology, requiring a BLS certification. Essential abilities include strong decision-making, communication skills, and the capacity to maintain composure and sensitivity while handling patients.
