The Technician provides critical data to doctors by performing administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, conducting preliminary testing, and assisting with patient exams. This role ensures the practice meets quality standards while managing patient scheduling and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
include preparing patients for eye examinations, performing all requested tests, assisting optometrists and ophthalmologists, and coordinating patient flow. Candidates must be able to perform light physical work, including standing for sustained periods and lifting up to 15 lbs, and possess the necessary visual acuity for detailed work.

This individual is responsible for various administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories, performing preliminary and ancillary testing, scheduling patients, preparing the exam room, and assisting the doctors with any exam needs. They ensure the practice’s quality standards are met, while completing specific, essential responsibilities that pertain to the patient’s experience and effective communication.
