The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, managing the implementation of care for various conditions including draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and incontinence. This role also involves assimilating and reporting performance data and coordinating communication regarding patient wound status with the interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current, active RN state license. Certification in wound care and sharp debridement procedures is preferred, along with basic computer skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities in English.
