The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures under physician direction, providing compassionate, age-specific care to patients ranging from neonates through geriatrics. Responsibilities include adhering to all safety standards related to radiation and fluoroscopy, and maintaining high standards of patient care during radiological procedures.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and be a Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) and Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT:R) in Ohio, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. While 2-5 years of experience is preferred, new graduates will be considered, and proficiency in operating various x-ray equipment and communication skills are required.
Education Qualifications Associate's Degree Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Required)
Skills and Abilities Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system. (Required proficiency) Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
