Medical assistants provide support services to physicians and ensure healthcare facilities operate smoothly. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, assisting with examinations, and performing front-desk tasks.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Medical Assisting program and hold current CMA or RMA certification. BLS certification and proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills are also required.
Description Medical assistants provide physician support services that ensure that healthcare facilities run smoothly. They are responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. The schedule for this position is Tuesday- Thursday only.

Collect PGT specimens and process paperwork to the lab. Collect urine for UDT and process correct paperwork to Beechtree. Nurse visits Follows strict HIPAA compliance guidelines, emergency procedures, medication and F/U protocols, follows MDS, medical waste and body fluid clean up protocol Reports directly to Nursing Supervisor
Available to work Tuesday- Thursday Must be a graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program (usually a 9 to 18-month program) and hold current CMA or RMA certification or equivalent work experience as deemed acceptable by Pearl Health Clinic Management Must be BLS certified Be proficient in computer typing skills, EMR entry, patient care, and knowledge of medical and medication terminology
